Absolut CrMo / Absolut MaxMax :
- Slightly loosen the rear brake disc
mount (the bolt that holds this mount to the
frame).
- Loosen the rear wheel axle.
- Use a 10mm flat wrench to adjust the
nuts (this will shorten or lengthen the
wheelbase) found on the threaded rod. Adjust the
nuts equally on either side so that the wheel is
properly aligned (double-check this before you
tighten the nuts on the wheel axle). If you
unscrew the nuts, you will shorten the wheelbase,
screw them in and you lengthen the the wheelbase.
NB: if your bike is mounted as a
single-speed, this adjustment serves to modify
your chain tension.
- Re-tighten the rear wheel axle (15 Nm)
- Re-tighten the rear disc brake mount (8
Nm)
Supreme DH
:
- Slightly loosen the rear brake disc
mount (the bolt that holds this mount to the
frame).
- Loosen the rear wheel axle.
- Turn the silver adjuster discs to adjust
the wheelbase as desired. Adjust the discs
equally on either side so that the wheel is
properly aligned (double-check this before you
tighten the nuts on the wheel axle).
- Re-tighten the rear wheel axle (10 Nm)
- Re-tighten the rear disc brake mount (8
Nm)
Flame Ti
:
- Slightly loosen the bolts of the
aluminum dropouts on the frame (4)
- Turn the silver adjuster discs to adjust
the wheelbase as desired. Adjust the discs
equally on either side so that the wheel is
properly aligned (double-check this before you
tighten the nuts on the wheel axle).
- Slightly tighten the aluminum dropout
bolts on the frame (4) (10 Nm)
