• How do I adjust the wheelbase of my Commençal (Absolut Al, Absolut CrMo, Supreme DH, Flame Ti)?

Absolut Al / Absolut CrMo / Absolut MaxMax :
    - Slightly loosen the rear brake disc mount (the bolt that holds this mount to the frame).
    - Loosen the rear wheel axle.
    - Use a 10mm flat wrench to adjust the nuts (this will shorten or lengthen the wheelbase) found on the threaded rod. Adjust the nuts equally on either side so that the wheel is properly aligned (double-check this before you tighten the nuts on the wheel axle). If you unscrew the nuts, you will shorten the wheelbase, screw them in and you lengthen the the wheelbase.

NB: if your bike is mounted as a single-speed, this adjustment serves to modify your chain tension.

    - Re-tighten the rear wheel axle (15 Nm)
    - Re-tighten the rear disc brake mount (8 Nm)

    Supreme DH :
    - Slightly loosen the rear brake disc mount (the bolt that holds this mount to the frame).
    - Loosen the rear wheel axle.
    - Turn the silver adjuster discs to adjust the wheelbase as desired. Adjust the discs equally on either side so that the wheel is properly aligned (double-check this before you tighten the nuts on the wheel axle).
    - Re-tighten the rear wheel axle (10 Nm)
    - Re-tighten the rear disc brake mount (8 Nm)

    Flame Ti :
    - Slightly loosen the bolts of the aluminum dropouts on the frame (4)
    - Turn the silver adjuster discs to adjust the wheelbase as desired. Adjust the discs equally on either side so that the wheel is properly aligned (double-check this before you tighten the nuts on the wheel axle).
    - Slightly tighten the aluminum dropout bolts on the frame (4) (10 Nm)
