• How do I adjust the head angle on my Commençal (Absolut 4X, Meta 4X, Supremes and the Meta 666)?

    Your bike is delivered with two head tube sleeves :
    -     A +/- 1° sleeve (Absolut 4X, Meta 4X, Supreme DH and Mini DH) mounted on the bike.
    - A +/- 0,5° sleeve (Meta 666) mounted on the bike.
    - An additional 0° sleeve.

    To change your head angle by +/-1° (or +/-0,5°, it’s the same procedure), you need to adjust the position of the two slots situated on the lower “ring” of the sleeve, so that one or the other is centred at the front of the head tube.


    You need to :
    -     Loosen the two bolts on the head tube.
    - Twist the sleeve 180° to one of two positions, either +1° or -1° (+0,5° or –0,5°).
    - Re-tighten the bolts with the correct torque setting (10 Nm).

    If you would like to use the 0° sleeve, you will need to remove the headset, loosen the head tube bolts, and change the sleeves. Re-mount the headset and tighten the head tube bolts (10 Nm).
